Explorar la explicación científica del origen del humano, su relación con el presente y la importancia de la evolución psicosocial del humano, a través de las ciencias naturales, el conocimiento y comprensión de la entidad donde se vive y la necesidad de reconocer emociones, tanto en uno mismo como en el otro.  
 
MONDAY (september 30th)

    • Individually, write a page, in your notebook (projects), about emotions:
      • What are they?
      • How can they be expressed?
      • How can they be detected?
      • What are the benefits of putting themselves in each other's shoes?
      • What do you do to detect your own emotions?
      • What is the use of doing this?
    • Body expression
      RECESS
    • Civic and ethical formation
      • Individually, read pages 16 and 17
      • Underline the main ideas
      • Write the date on each of the pages
      • Comment on your half-page notebook (projects) and illustrate

    • “Little Sister, Big Mess!” By: Jane E. Gerver
    • Reading power Lessons 6 (Guided group practice): Expanding connections
    • Remind where you put your stickies on the chart. Try to put your stickies in a different spot today during the group connect
    • Idea of Quick Connections (my uncle has a dog like that) and Deep Thinking Connections (That reminds me of the time when I got teased at school for wearing dresses everyday and I felt really embarrassed). Modeling the difference between these two, so everybody can begin to expand their thinking.
  5. Comprehension program (Classroom)
    • “La creación del hombre según los mayas” adaptación de Antonio Domínguez
  6. RECESS
    • Revise “to” for purpose
    • When we’re saying why we do something, we use “to” before the verb
    • Revise “because”
    • Revise “so”
    • Cut the sentences on the printable sheet. In group of 3-4, learners put the strips in the correct order and tell the story.
    • Write the story in the past, adding words “because, while, so, to”Cambridge vocabulary (FUn for flyers 64-65)
  7. The entity where I live
    • Review the information you have worked on in your book (p. 8 to 37)
    • Write the dates on the pages
    • Create a concept map on the subject as a team

WEDNESDAY (october 2nd)
  1. Brain gym

  4. Cambridge vocabulary (FUn for flyers p. 14 & 15)
    1. Check the meaning of verbs: run, fly, jump, swim and hop. DO the actions
    2. Pairs write sentences about their animals, using the sentence starts on the board.
    3. Look on internet for more information about your chosen animals and produce a video about it.
    4. Play the game! Dolphins or bats?
      1. One photocopy, cut up the pictures and sentences
      2. For each pair of sentences, one is about dolphins and one is about bats. Learners match the sentences to the correct animal.
      3. Group find two animal pictures and put them face up on and take turns to pick a sentence and to read it to the group.
      4. The group decides whether to put it next to the dolphin or the bat picture. learners in the first group to correctly match all the sentences with the pictures are the winners.

    • Share the video link on Facebook with the hashtags #JVS #TSLM #Natural Sciences
