We're going to practice: SELF- MOTIVATION

Vamos a definir nuestras 3 conductas observables de la semana, trabajando con la habilidad de SELF-MOTIVATION

 Una conducta observable, es una acción concreta que podemos acordar en familia para mejorar nuestra dinámica familiar.

1. Esta semana, proponemos trabajar con:

• I work hard. 
• I make an effort even if something is hard for me.
• I do things that motivate me.

 

2. Identifica en la tabla de arriba (rúbrica), el nivel en donde te encuentras (las descripciones de cada habilidad te dicen lo que eres capaz y lo que falta por alcanzar). En familia, platiquen qué acciones pueden ayudarte para alcanzar el siguiente nivel (siguiente sol). 

3. En tu cuaderno, escribe oraciones, en la que describas dos situaciones en las que crees que podrías trabajar para aumentar la confianza en tí mismo.

4. Al final del día si cumpliste con todas las conductas, te llevas un "play money" por cada una de ellas (obteniendo como máximo 3 por día). Anótalas en tu registro Treasure Island o en un registro que esté visible en tu casa.

ACTIVIDAD 6: PROCESOS MATEMÁTICOS/EDUCACIÓN FINANCIERA - La recta numérica 

We're going to learn about: Recta numérica, definición de la recta de numérica. 

1. Investiga, ¿Qué es una recta numérica? revisa el siguiente link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojNlAj2ei8E,  
2. Elabora un escrito sobre la definición de la Recta numérica.
3. Resuelve el siguiente ejercicio sobre la Recta numérica.
4. Resuelve las sumas y restas que se encuentran del lado izquierdo colocando el resultado en la recta numérica que se encuentra del lado derecho. 
5. Utiliza tus fichas del Treasure Island para realizar sumas utilizando una recta numérica.
6. Puedes imprimir y pegar o copiar la actividad  en tu cuaderno de Matemáticas. 
7. Recuerda evaluar tu actividad con la rúbrica de escritura que se encuentra en tu cuaderno de proyectos..

Pay attention to all the story elements that you know like characters, settings, drawing a conclusion with the story’s plot.

By putting all of these together you are CONNECTING IDEAS. 

I will expect to see your video, reading the daily book out loud. Listen to the reading and repeat it. PRACTICE EVERY DAY.

Research, Investigate, and Communicate

Inquiry Activity: Measuring Your Shadow: Earlier in the lesson you observed shadows and drew their shapes. Now you have a chance to measure your own shadow at different times of day. You will also draw where the Sun is at each of those times.

4. Open the Be a Scientist Notebook to page 236. Write your prediction. Then carry out the investigation.

A Wise Wish

Make a video reading the story, as you always do, TODAY IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE! I will make an evaluation based on your reading fluency on today’s story. 

TIP: Pay attention to the punctuation signs, if you learn how to include them as a part of the reading you will improve your reading fluency. Another TIP is to listen to yourself reading meanwhile you see the text, that way, you will be able to know when to make pauses.
